SINIKOL's latest CD, LIVIN' THE LIFE
SINIKOL’s Biography
Born in Indiana, and raised in Michigan mostly, Devin has been a musician for close to 7 years now. He is a 14-year-old musician looking to pursue a life goal and career in music. Seeing as he doesn’t go by a special stage name, Devin claims, “my real name works great for me, I guess you could call me SINIKOL”? He is a solo artist and hires other musicians when he plays out.
On to better things, Devin records at FATMAN RECORDS™ where not only he is a recording artist, but he also takes part in the engineering of the recording. The Fatman himself handles Devin’s/Sinikol’s bookings and promotions. Devin has just recently released a CD with Fatman Records under the name “SINIKOL” called Livin’ The Life and he is working on another new project at the moment. You can find Sinikol’s music on myspace pages “sinikol & djfatmanrecords”. Devin says, “FATMAN RECORDS™ is an Independent label, and I plan to remain an independent artist”.
Devin is quite the entertainer, musician, and an artist all together. He creates and releases his own music not only for the sake of doing something he loves, but to reach out to people. This is because he wants to show everyone a variety of genres in music that isn’t vulgar and is well created for the average person to relate to. His songs are written about daily life, and the adventure within it. Devin writes, records, and produces his own songs and music. He has been influenced by such great artist as; Rush, AC/DC, REO Speedwagon, Bad Company, Queen, Black Sabbath, Green Day, Molly Hatchet, and Billy Joel, just to name a few.

Devin believes his music is to be described in such way as to say it is hard rocking, and yet mellow. It is ranged from many different influential genres and artists, and yet keeps a certain unique sound all it’s own. He believes it is not described as one certain type of music, but many. Also, that it carries lyrics that are crisp, fresh and to the point, yet can be received in many different ways among an audience.
Devin believes that he is on his way to being successful as a musician, and many other people agree. He works hard at perfecting his music, and is looking forward to working even harder towards it as a life goal and career. He would say, “that my live performances are entertaining and they keep people tuned into what’s happening”. Devin is not just a musician, but also an entertainer. In order to generate an audience that is hyped to see him play, he keeps them interested in what’s happening on the stage, and not just ripping through a plethora of songs.
Devin has played for many large audiences, some of his performances were:
- Private parties for events such as; Labor Day, Memorial Day, Indy 500, and hog roasts.
- Local talent shows
- Gigs with Sinikol
- Co-hosted an Open Stage at a Restaurant / Bar for over a year.
Devin has been performing for crowds since he was about nine years of age, and to this day he entertains many people with his music and wit.

Slim Spooky and the Fatman
Slim Spooky and the Fatman have released two CD's to date. Their first being a first of many things is a blues CD. The second effort was a recreation of songs that were written by various artist while the Fatman played lead guitar for the bands "Oracle" and "Bond Servant". The Fatman wanted to recreate those songs that were dear to his heart and wanted to see what the Spookster could do with them even though he was only 13 years old.
This father and son duo are still in the music business however have put recording together on the proverbial back burner. The Spookster has taken to being a solo artist. His first solo project was Sinikol "Livin' the life" and is now working on a second CD titled "Shadows in the dark". The Fatman has been working on the "behind the scenes" stuff.It is not sure if the Spookster and the Fatman will ever put out another CD so don't hold your breath.
